The Saga of the Bag

We finally make it to London on Virgin Atlantic.  I could launch into a full-blown critique on Virgin, but I’ll save that for another day.  I will say it ended with just a touch of excitement.  When we landed we were informed that there was a problem with the door and we needed to stay in our seats until it was sorted out.  Then they called for the gentleman seated directly behind Brad.  Seems the police were waiting for him – and there wasn’t really a problem with the door.

After the holiday rush at Immigration, we were finally reunited with a tearful Melissa.  She had been waiting over 4 hours for us, having arrived earlier from Chicago – without her bag.  24 hours later United’s website claims the bag has not yet been located, but “please know most of our delayed bags are located and returned within the first 24 hours.”  Hmmm….
